Regional FAQs

Working with us, wherever you're based

Do you work with businesses outside London?
Yes — around half our client base sits outside Greater London. We're fully cloud-based on Xero, so onboarding a Manchester, Birmingham or South East Ltd company looks identical to onboarding one in the City. Quarterly reviews happen on video; annual planning meetings can be in person if you'd like.
Are tax reliefs different in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland?
Income tax bands differ in Scotland, and some devolved reliefs apply in Wales and NI — but the corporate reliefs in this guide (R&D, Full Expensing, Employment Allowance, AIA, BIK on EVs) are UK-wide and apply identically wherever your Ltd company is registered.
Can a London-based accountant really understand a regional SME?
We work with 175+ UK Ltd companies and roughly 60% are run by international or out-of-London founders. The reliefs, HMRC deadlines and Companies House filings are national — what changes is the sector mix, and we adapt our advice to that.
Do you offer in-person meetings in Manchester or Birmingham?
Yes, on request — typically for annual planning, R&D scoping or share-scheme work. Day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll and management accounts are handled remotely on Xero so you're not paying for travel time.
